ABOUT US
Carriage House Landscape Design has been helping homeowners and professionals create beautiful landscapes since 1999. Knowledge of plants is combined with creativity to assure that plants chosen for your landscape will thrive and continue to provide years of enjoyment. Our clients appreciate the fact that we actually listen to what they ask for and incorporate their wishes into their design. We take time to answer questions and explain how the design will work with any existing landscapes or plan for additional plantings in the future.
By working with Carriage House Landscape Design, you can be sure that your ideas are practical, buildable and sustainable. The design process can and should be incorporated into the construction phase. Every project has the potential to be improved upon as it is being built. Additionally, almost every project will have some “unknown” pop up during construction. Having your designer close at hand during the construction phase will ensure that you capitalize on any opportunities that may arise and minimize any unforeseen pitfalls. We work with any contractor and will remain with you through the construction phase of your project.
We have a special interest in plant health and stay up to date on insects, diseases, weeds and cultural practices that may affect your landscapes. This interest has led to the Plant Health Care aspect of Carriage House Landscape Design. Large amounts of money are invested to have a beautiful landscape installed only to have the care overlooked until a plant dies. Often, a small change in watering methods, proper pruning or diagnosing a sick plant rather than waiting until it has died can save hundreds or thousands of dollars!
What's great about Lori is her willingness to educate the homeowner as she creates the landscape design that meets the customer's needs. From the detailed garden design to the care and maintenance guidelines once the plants are in the ground, Lori strives to have her customers be as much a part of the garden project as they wish to be. Whether she is presenting at a seminar or workshop, showing you how to trim something, or you have a one on one question or concern, Lori is able to clearly explain all things plant-related in a way that everyone can understand. ~Carol S., Hellertown
